Signature cocktails have become a popular addition to wedding cocktail hours, parties, and special events. They can tell your love story and who you are as a couple. Why not commemorate your love this Valentine's Day by creating your own signature cocktail?
Making a great cocktail is easier than you think, but the true magic of a cocktail is what we call the "je ne sais quoi," the mystical, invisible component. The emotional connection evoked by the drink in which the name, a story, or a moment of inspiration drives the specific combination of ingredients in the glass; finding that is what makes us stand out against the competition.
Our signature cocktail service has three parts:
Part One- Plan a date night with your partner- pour a drink, turn on some music, and have fun filling out our questionnaire. This introduces us to your palate, alcohol preferences, and favorite (and least favorite) drinks and flavors. We also ask questions about how you met and your love story so far and ask you to explain stuff about yourself and each other.
Part Two- We will set up a virtual meeting for our mixologist to ask questions about your responses, gather more details, and learn more about you and your partner.
Part Three- We will schedule an in-person meeting where our mixologists will bring everything needed to create your signature cocktail to YOU. At BOGAR + BEV, you are completely involved in the creation process! We will play with flavors, seasonal ingredients, colors, garnishes, and design until we create (and name) your perfect cocktail.

ALL PACKAGES INCLUDE
- One 30 Minute Virtual Consultation to discuss your survey
- All necessary bar tools: mixing glass or shaker, jigger, bar spoon/muddler, strainers, peelers, mallets, etc.
- Bar mats, aprons, ice buckets and tongs
- Homemade syrups, freshly squeezed juices
- Bitters, fresh herbs, fruits, garnishes, mixers (soda water/tonic)
- Ice
- Custom recipe cards (digital) of your signature cocktail (delivered after experience)
- DOES NOT INCLUDE THE COST OF ALCOHOL (Please see "fine print" section).
FINE PRINT
- ALCOHOL POLICY: BOGAR + BEV provides mixology classes, we do not sell or serve alcohol. Therefore, Customers must provide their own alcohol (we will provide a list prior to your class). We offer an "alcohol concierge service;" for 10% of the total cost of the spirits purchased. We will shop for and deliver the required spirits for your class (and you get to keep everything left over).
- AGE POLICY: All participants in BOGAR + BEV mixology classes must be 21 years or older at the time of the class. All guests must provide a valid form of identification to our mixologist at the time of the class. Under no circumstances will a guest be able to participate in the class if their age cannot be verified.
- MILEAGE POLICY: For distances outside of 15 miles from the D.C. border, a charge of $0.50 per mile will be charged.
